1924
Took part in independence movement with Captain Chang Ho Byeon at Mohwa Mt. in Manchuria.
1945
Began to operate Seonghye oriental medicine clinic. Recommended to President Syngman Rhee to establish western/oriental medical university and hospital.
1971
Published serially theory of cancer in oriental medicine and its treatment in Daehan Poster News. Recommended manufacturing method of bamboo salt and mineral-fed duck to President Chung-hee Park.
1986
Published “New Medicine”

Dr. Insan’s commitment to his country was as strong as his dedication to medicine. In 1924, he joined the independence movement alongside Captain Chang Ho Byeon at Mohwa Mountain in Manchuria. From 1930 to 1945, he hid in the Seolryeong branch temple on Myohang Mountain and Baekdusan Mountain, where he focused on research and invention. During this period, he developed several medical breakthroughs, including the enhancement of bamboo salt, the creation of Ohaekdan, Mineral-fed Duck, Sarijang, and a natural anti-cancer drug.
